Base
POWTON˘ç PT7400 Series thermosetting powders are designed to serve as functional as well as decorative coatings, combining optimum corrosion protection with highest weather stability. These polyester coatings also exhibit excellent over baking resistance across a wide range of cure conditions. Typical applications include architectural products, fencing, farming machinery, handrails, Sports equipments, marine applications, automotive equipments and aluminum profiles.

Aluminium architectural profiles as well as galvanized steel panels.
Good chemical resistance.
Good heat and overcuring resistance.

1) In case of very specific utilization, the users has to control by himself if the product fulfill all requirements.
2) Possibly ask for last printed data sheets to benefit fully of gathered experience.
3) If all the coating and surface treatment conditions are respected, a coating resistance guarantee(including the building decennial guarantee) can be authorized, guarantee covered by insurance.

Substrate
Has to be absolutely clean, dry and free of any grease.
(Galvanized Steel free of ˘®˘çwhite rust' Aluminum : Not anodized).
Raw Aluminum : degreasing + phosphoric acid scouring + rinsing chromatizing + demineralizing water rinsing.

NOTE: Control of curing : impact resistance must correspond to below given data.
POWTON PT7400 has an excellent thermal resistance but nevertheless an extended curing can provoke the product's yellowing
